As I have previously posted, I suffered a bit of a computer disaster recently, and I am still waiting for Dell to get it all sorted out.

In the meantime, I am glad to say that I have posted something from the show.  If you go to http://www.stagepics.co.uk and follow the "LAMP People" link, you will see that I have created a slideshow of the photographs that I have edited.  In time, that will be taken down and replaced with a ZIP of all the pictures at a slightly larger size.  Unfortunately I can't have them both online at the same time because I have restricted amount of password-protected web space.

So, given how busy I expect to be over the next few weeks I simply don't have the time or inclination to try to charge for pictures and start posting out CDs - please just download the pictures and enjoy them!  I'd also welcome any comments or observations you have about the photographs either here on the blog or by email from the web site.

As a technical note, this was the first time I had tried shooting a show with my Sigma 18-200mm lens rather than the Canon 24-105mm or 70-200mm, both of which are Canon L lenses.  I have to say that I can see the difference in quality - the L lenses generate nicer pictures, especially where people are a little out of the depth of field range, and at the edges of the picture.  Whether the pictures are sufficiently "nicer" to justify the extra cost is a completely separate issue!
